REINSP Re-Inspect Case referred back to Inspector for further investigation
ORDERS Orders Orders citing violations of the code have been issued to the owner
BARRICD Barricade The open, vacant building case is in the City Barricade Program for possible securing by government action
BBA Board of Appeals Orders issued have been Appealed by the Owner
PREPROS Pre-Prosecution An informal hearing has been scheduled with the owner to discuss lack of compliance with orders, and to determine if the case should be prosecuted
FNLNOTIC Final Notice A notice has been issued to the owner warning that a civil fine or criminal prosecution will occur in 30 days, if compliance with orders not achieved
CIVIL1 Civil 1 A Civil fine of $500 has been levied against the owner for failure to comply with orders
CIVIL2 Civil 2 A Second Civil fine within 12 month has been levied for failure to comply with orders; fine of $1000.00
CRIMNL Criminal Complaint A Criminal complaint has been filed in Cincinnati Municipal court for failure to comply with Orders, punishable by $1000.00 fine and or 6 months in jail. THIS CASE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC WHILE IN CRIMINAL STATUS.

EXTNTION Extension The owner has been given an extension to comply with the issued orders.

CASEPEND Criminal Comlaint A criminal complaint has been filed in Cincinnati Municipal Court for failure to comply with Orders.
CLOSED Case Closed

The case is closed because the building has been razed, is scheduled to be razed, or there is no access to the building.

EXCPLEXT Exceptional Extension Orders have been unable to be abated or the case pursued due to a variety of reasons including but not limited to: deceased owner, foreclosure, abandonment, out of state property owner, vacant building maintained license holder (VBML). In some cases the owner may be working to acquire and abate the problem by using a HUD grant administered by the Lead or Community Development Department.
